I attend the Cryosurgery Clinic every 2 weeks with various long standing skin diseases. Firstly, the reception staff are always helpful and understanding. They run a very well organised front office and always ensure that the flow of patients through the clinics are both efficient and constant. Sometimes the treatment can be painful and I am treated with the utmost respect and sympathy by the nursing staff. I also feel that I am monitored to the highest level by the nursing staff, and they alert the necessary Consultant if they think that any aspect of my skin has changed in any way.
If I have to have a minor operation to have certain growths removed I am very well looked after. All the Consultants are excellent and very well informed of any new developments within the field of dermatology. This is a leading edge clinic and would benefit from more internal funding to assist with perhaps more clinical trials or research, as it is already the best in the region.
Because of my poor health I attend several hospitals across Yorkshire, and this department is by far the best that I attend, both for the high level of quality treatment and for the friendly, caring professionalism that is offered. Well done for offering such a quality service on such a tight budget.
"Excellent professional service"
