"Orthopaedic outpatient service;"

About: Leighton Hospital

I had cortisone injections in my right foot some two weeks ago which was fine at first but began to give me great pain a couple of days ago. I was unable to sleep or walk properly so rang to ask the doctors for advice. The secretary was very understanding and helpful and I was very pleased, and somewhat surprised, when they left a message to say that the doctor would see me in the fracture clinic the next day.

On arriving at outpatients I was told that the doctor had no clinic but I proceeded to the clinic where it was it was obvious they were expecting me.

Within a very short time the doctor himself appeared and saw me there and then. Although the problem is not yet resolved totally I cannot fault the speed with which I was seen nor the kind attention of the doctor and team. I want to place on record the wonderful service I received today.
