"My mothers recent stay in hospital"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

My elderly mother was admitted to ward 12 and was given palliative care by a very caring, considerate and attentive staff. Our family will always be grateful for the way that Mum was treated with the upmost dignity during the last three weeks of her life. We were allowed to visit when we needed and they were never too busy to answer our questions and all treatment was explained (often to all me and my siblings on different occasions depending when our visits were made).

Dear Mr Clarke

Firstly, we would like to offer our condolences at what must be a difficult time for you and your family.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to share your compliments regarding the care your mum received in her final weeks here at Queen’s Hospital.

It is very pleasing to read of the support that was provided to you and your family, our staff do work very hard to provide high standards of care, your comments have been shared and will be very much appreciated by all of the staff.

Many thanks

PALS Office
