"walk in centre"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

I've been coming in for now a week to get my dressing changed which I am unable to do myself and the nurse at my GP's is not in and I have been told walk in centre is not for dressing change. So where do I go if not here cause this is the place my surgeon and GP told me to come to. Disappointed that after a week i'm being told I don't get priority cause they don't do thus here. The person at reception rude about it also.

I am very sorry to hear of your experience. The Urgent Care Centre is run by Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust and sees patients with Urgent on the day need and they would redirect back to the GP and Community Services any treatment which is non-urgent . We are sorry that you have experienced difficulty with your dressing changes and for the attitude of the receptionist and would like the opportunity to look into this further. If you could please contact our Patient Advice Liaison Service (PALS) on freephone 0800 953 0363, or via confidential email at pals.hrch@nhs.net
