"Ambulance staff and A&E were great"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I had quite severe chest pains so my partner called 999 as we thought it was a heart attack I was experiencing. The ambulance crew that came (Mark, Gregg and Sophie) were excellent, they sorted me out straight away.

They did various tests at home then whisked me off to the Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where, after a short spell in A&E, I was transferred to a ward for a couple of days.

All the staff at the hospital were brilliant, I was treated very well by everyone.

Hi Piper919,

Thank you for providing us with feedback about our service. I hope you are feeling better now.

It's always rewarding to hear positive patient experiences. We would be very happy to share your comments with the ambulance staff involved in your care. However, in order to do this we need a little more specific information. If you would like us to do this, may I ask you to contact our Patient Engagement team on either plaudits@swast.nhs.uk or 01392 453831 and a member of the team will help you further.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to share your story.

Sara
