"Mindfulness was great"

About: Manchester Mental Health And Social Care Trust / Primary care mental health

(as the patient),

mindfulness swinton gateway. At first it seemed overwhelming having to walk into a room of strangers but the 2 members of staff were very welcoming and friendly and we were given name badges to make cross conversations less stressful – over the weeks the group settled into a friendly “sharing” of what work for them. The C. Ds were a good part of the course and the fact that you were among people who knew what you were talking about, made it easier to discuss and “take in” information. The only drawback was the self locking door on the room which meant disturbing the group so that the person outside could gain entrance- I like the suggestion the there “might” be a “drop in” session available soon.
