Transferred from South Tyneside after 3 days treatment for kidney problems, excellentb care received from all staff, on arrival in Sunderland Aroyal assessment commenced immediately, on confirmation it was Myeloma Drs. Explained situation and commenced stabalisation/ treatment program. Lots of information to take in and the shock of the news made asimilation difficult but with issue of various literature and further talks with Drs over next 3 days a better picture was formed re. The situation.....although still more questions than answers at the moment. Treatment now moved to outpatient area re. Phoenix ward. Overall considering the volume of patients and the exceptionally high workload of everyone working in the hospital, the professionalism, care and consideration of patients, the hospital is a godsend to petsons that fall sick...one thing I now realise is the NHS is a lucky organisation to have such dedicated people working for me in this area.
"Myeloma"
