On behalf of my family I wish to express my thanks to the staff of the Boscawen Ward End of Life Care Unit. My mother was admitted there on Monday December 7th. From then until she sadly passed away on Sunday December 13th she received the most wonderful care from all of the staff - medical staff, helpers and cleaners etc. The staff were also very kind and compassionate to my brother, my wife and myself as we sat at her bedside.
Our family will always remember how well she was cared for in her final days.
You have a wonderful hospital, I wish politicians and NHS managers could regularly observe the fantastic work and devoted service given by the medical profession. More investment is needed rather than cuts.
Once again many thanks for everything, as an expression of our thanks all donations made at my mother's funeral will made to support the Boscawen Ward. I am sure they will be put to a worthwhile use.
