While on holiday at Center Parcs this week I collapsed, hit my head and was unconscious for a short while. I was brought to the hospital by ambulance and received exemplary care. A CT scan was quickly organised, and everyone from the paramedics, nurses, doctors, porters, volunteers etc were superb and a real credit to the NHS. Thankfully nothing serious was found, but the treatment and brilliant service helped my wife and I through an initially very distressing time. We both commented afterwards how much better it was compared to the hospital where we live.
