"Breast Care Clinic"

I was given a 2 week referral to the Breast Care Clinic by my GP. This is a really well thought out service. I had my appointment within two weeks and attended the clinic today. I was feeling anxious and vulnerable when I arrived, but the team in the clinic were fantastic. They were friendly and real, sympathetic and efficient. They just did their jobs brilliantly! The mammogram, ultrasound and examination with the breast consultant were performed discreetly and with dignity and at every stage there was a clear explanation before they carried out the procedure. It all happens so slickly, and they are just an awesome team, making what could be quite traumatic, into something bearable and normal. Thank you Breast Care Clinic. You do an amazing job.
