"Accident and emergency / sister having seizures"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

Spoke to A & E this evening regarding my younger sister being brought in with seizures. Nurse was rude and abrupt on telephone after i questioned them about her being sent home after have 4 seizures in 5 weeks. They said that i should contact the pals office and discuss with them as they were too busy! i asked to speak to someone else and they point blank refused me telling me if i wanted to complain i should speak to PALS.. my call was not a complaint, i was just concerned that they should not be sending her home until they know what is going on with her but after the attitude of staff that are supposed to care for their patients i am now publically making one! I do understand there have been valuable money being cut from the nhs but that does not excuse the lack of care and attention from staff that have already supposedly been trained.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback and we are sorry to hear your experience didn't meet the highest standards of care we strive for for all our patients. We would encourage you to please contact Bronwyn Bartlett, Service Manager for A&E on bronwyn.bartlett@chelwest.nhs.uk so this can be looked into further. Thank you.
