"Completely let down by Leeds City Council (again) and North Leeds CCG"

About: Leeds / Leeds Social Services NHS Leeds North CCG

(as a carer),

After, what is in my opinion, failure to provide basic services for me as carer and my wife who suffers from dementia, Leeds City Council has failed to come up with a suitable care home package whilst my Wife languishes in a mental health ward - bed blocking at it's worse.

When they do talk figures they taught about a figure £150 per week less than North Yorks C. C. will provide for the same care home and nearly £200 per week than they will apply in Kirklees.

North Leeds CCG haven't come up with anything despite obligations under Section 117. I have had no meaningful direct contact from them. A request for Continuing Health Care was submitted and all they do is claim they haven't received it.

This is more than anyone suffering from or caring for a dementia sufferer should have to bear.

I am at the end of my patience.
