"Thank you to the staff in the Community"

I would like to thank the staff in the Community area of Epping who supported us in caring for my Mother in the last few days of her life. It was very important to mum to come home to die. This was unfortunatly down to the poor care and attention that she had recived in our local hospital. So many people worked so hard to give her the respect and dignity she so badly wanted, and desrved. From the Oxygen suppliers to the Occupational team who supplied aids such as an electric bed, air mattress etc, to the brilliant Epping District Nurses who truly were there for the family as well as Mum, and the GP's of High Street Surgery, Epping. Our mum was a lady to the end, and it was due to the great team of Community staff ( West Essex PCT) who helped keep her a lady. Perhaps The Princess Alexandra Hospital Managers should take some lessons from this team.
