After my recent rant regarding waiting times i can only offer the highest praise of my treatment at Sunderland Royal. Asked to report on Tuesday afternoon. I presented myself to D41 where i was swiftly assessed and taken to D42 where informed i was to undergo an operation. Even after an emergency from A&E which put my op in danger of cancellation i was kept informed throughout and because i am diabetic they decided it would be best for me to have the procedure that night. Brilliant Staff from ward to theatre treat with utmost respect. I cant praise them enough. Thankyou
