What I liked
It was the day that i was due to have my plaster cast taken off. As an 18 year old you would think that i wouldnt be scared but i was horrified as i didnt know what they are going to do when they take it off. I arrived in the Orthopedic Clinic and was nervous but also excited that im finally going to get the plaster taken off. I did tell reception that i was a bit scared of the procedure and they took me into the plaster suite before i was seen so i had a fair idea of what is going to happen and once been there i was more comfortable about the surrondings. When i sore my consultant i explained to them when i go down i would like someone to explain it to me whilst they were performing the procedure and the consultant raised it with the technician on duty and sat me down and explained it to me bit by bit. I have to say it was painless but a bit noisy for my liking but i knew it was gonna be like that it took about 5-10 mins to take plaster off it ended up being 30 minutes in there but it was worth it as the staff there were the best i have experienced
Anything else?
keep the great service going and im not scared anymore so if iwas a plaster cast again i feel much better as it can be torture sometimes. You feel like the saw was going to cut you but i had trust which was fanbtastic i was not sure at the beginnin but turned out to be a very adventurous visit
