In August I suddenly developed a problem with one knee making it impossible to walk very far with it swelling up. Physiotherapy made it worse so I had an x-ray taken and was referred to the Royal Surrey Musculoskeletal Unit (MSU).
My first appointment with Mrs Jane Ireland was in October where I was seen on time and received a very through and professional explanation of the what the X-ray had reveal. I felt unrushed and in the hands of someone who cared. Because of my continuing pain it was decided that I should have an MRI scan, which she would arrange and I was to rebook to see her again three weeks after the scan.
The MRI scan was taken in mid Now and I saw the lady again at the beginning of December. Taking anti-inflammatory drugs in the meantime had lessened the discomfort.
On this second visit to the MSU I again was treated with great and understanding and at no time felt rushed. Indeed one got the impression that had I had any further questions I could have asked them
"Excellent treatment at the Royal Surrey"
