"No real help"

About: Leicester General Hospital

Well, I had my second appointment. The letter from consultant took 8 weeks to arrive. Why the doctor surprised that I checked on the GMC website about them I don't know - the doctor isn't who I saw before, so I wanted to know about them. Second visit, second doctor. I wanted to know if the doctor has experience dealing with CRPS, and what their background is. The doctor has my notes - why shouldn't I know something about them? Basically, all the doctor can think of is to change meds. If that doesn't work, the doctor will discharge at the next appointment as "there is nothing further". OK, what about desensitization? Rehab for walking? OT for hands? Help with an exercise regime? Mirror image work?

Also, why doesn't anyone there answer the phone?
