"Very poor service"

Very dissatisfied with the service & the accommodation.

I was a voluntary patient however access to leave the ward was through two locked doors, which staff had to unlock. I usually had to wait 20 minutes before a member of staff had the time to open the doors,I felt like I was being treated like a criminal.

The room I slept in had no curtains at the window so there was no privacy.

All my personal possessions were taken from me & locked away, including a photograph of my husband who had only died two weeks previously. I was told that other patients would object to the photo by my bed!

I was in a mixed sex ward - a male patient walked into my bedroom during the night - the staff removed him when I raised the alarm & said 'he was confused'. I was absolutely terrified.
