I went into the Accident and Emergency Department on Sunday night with a possible infection to a hand wound. Shropdoc had recommended that I see someone that evening.
After registering, I was called in by the triage nurse who promptly assessed me and decided that a course of antibiotics may be the best thing for me. The nurse asked a doctor to come and see me and they agreed. The doctor went and prescribed me the drugs as they wanted me to start them immediately.
I was in and out in under 45 minutes. The staff made me feel as though they had a "if we can treat you quicker, we will" attitude which I have found to be rare in other hospitals.
They were friendly, helpful and most of all - efficient.
Thank you to all of the staff in A+E on Sunday 13th December (around 11pm).
