"Appointment with an arrogant doctor"

I'm a human being, but the behaviour and attitude of a doctor in Kirkham made me feel like I wasn't.

There are 3 amazing doctors at my practice. Pray that you get one of them. If you get one of the other two you will either be diagnosed with asthma or be made to feel like your opinions don't matter, like you are an idiot and should blindly follow their instructions regardless of how detrimental to your health they are.

This morning I had an appointment with the doctor who is widely known in the town of Kirkham as the 'arrogant one'. He gestured me into his office and then proceeded to lecture me about a missed appointment. I explained why I had not shown up and why I was there.

He then told me that I had been diagnosed with two separate illnesses... which I hadn't been. He then told me I must have one of them because of a medication I was prescribed. I had to tell him that I was prescribed this medication for a different reason, proving he did not read my notes.

As I advised him about another reason I was there - a quite serious one - he smirked at me and did not give me any advice about what to do.

I left the surgery in tears.
