(as a volunteer/advocate),

During a recent Catering Focus Group meeting the patients shared many positive comments about the catering service at Arnold lodge which they asked me to post for all to see.

The patients attend the focus group as representatives of their wards, they collectively said they value being involved as it gives them the opportunity to share what is going well or not so well in relation to food issues and they can see changes are being made as a result.

Patients have said the following;

"The food tasting was great"

"the last 'fakeaway' tasted just like chip shop fish and chips"

"looking forward to the new menu starting"

Thank you for taking the time to post your positive comments about the catering service at Arnold Lodge - it's great to hear that we're getting something right! Thank you also for being part of the Catering Focus Group and for sharing your opinions about the food we provide as it's only by listening to patients that we can learn about what we could do better, as well as what we need to do more of! I'm aware that the Catering Team have been working really hard over the last few months to improve the service that they provide so I will ensure that they get to see your positive comments.
