"Hardly anything. I was not approached/greeted ..."

About: University Hospital Of North Durham

(as a relative),

What I liked

Hardly anything. I was not approached/greeted by any staff member when I visited my aged (81 year old) mother. Was not informed of her progress, or what further investigations/treatments she would be given. Nor could I get any sensible reply as to when she would be able to leave. Bishop Auckland Hospital was far better than this travesty.

What could be improved

Everything!! Especially Visitor Parking. Staff parking facilities outnumber visitor facilities by apparently 12 to 1. If that many staff are in the place, and judging by what I saw there were, then Patient care should be marvelous.

Visiting times are a joke!( a seriously bad one at that)

Anything else?

If this place is a "centre of excellence" then it must be in nonsensical misadministration, certainly not patient care, visitor/public relations, or medical ethics!
