"Emergency scan"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

I was referee for an emergency scan at DVH and to say the least DVH don't know the meaning of emergency

I took over 2 weeks to be scanned which seems rather pathetic and poor poor service

I think most of the staff read to scrip and have no aptitude to make crucial decisions

This hospital should be I. Special measure as I feel it fails it patients

We were sorry to read of how unhappy you were with your wait for an emergency scan. If a GP requests an urgent appointment for a patient to be seen by a specialist or have an investigation this is called "Rapid Access / 2 week wait" and starts from when the referral was received. We can see that you were seen within this time frame though fully appreciate that any wait can be an anxious and worrying time.

Kind regards
