(as a service user),

I was happy to come along to the day centre when the opportunity came up. The service is very good; people here are good tempered and very attentive.

In better weather we go for runs in the bus and picnics. I also like being at the centre in nice weather, going for a walk and a look about.

One issue that could improve is the transport; the bus often has problems with the engine and is well known at the local garage. If money wasn’t an issue the solution would be a new bus.

Dear Picnic,

I glad to hear that you are enjoying your time spent at Stronach Day Service and that the staff look after you whilst you are there.It is important for service users to retain links within the community and that these opportunities are provided.

A replacement minibus has now been identified and when adaptions have been made, will replace the old minibus. The 2 exisiting cars will be replaced in the near future with newer models allowing for a more relaible and pleasurable experience.
