Following an injury at work at the end of APRIL she was referred to the Lumbar Spine Pathway and after an initial consultation in June had an MRI in AUGUST. We are now in DECEMBER and if it wasn't for the diligence and excellent care of a community based HCP, my wife would be none the wiser as to the result of the scan. No notification was sent to my wife, her GP or the Physiotherapist that she in fact needed a follow-up appointment with further treatment back in SEPTEMBER.
My wife's condition as you can imagine is no better, indeed it has worsened. She is due another initial consultation this week, however I'm not confident that anything constructive will happen this time either. Don't get me started about Occupational Health...
