"Gastro unit"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

I attended the unit as an out patient for a colonoscopy. .

I was taken in for treatment on time, the nursing staff ensured that I knew exactly what the procedure involved and took time to explain my options. The procedure itself was carried out very efficiently with minimal discomfort and the findings were explained to me before I left the unit. I felt that I was treated with friendliness and respect throughout - the whole process was nothing like as embarrassing or painful as I had anticipated. A big thank you to all the staff for the care I received.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about your experience when you came for a colonoscopy. The matron for this service will be pleased to know that you were treated with respect and everything was explained to you.
