"Query"

About: Princess Royal Hospital (Haywards Heath)

Tried to go to the desk for informtation where I found nobody willing to answer my query for several minutes.

Waited 3 and a half hours (arrived 9.25)

Was told 2 patients would be seen infront of her so far more than 2 have been.

Situation had been explained a number of times and is still currently suffering from their issue.

I am so sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience from the staff and were not informed of what was happening in A&E. Unfortunately there can be long waits in A&E and people are seen in order of how critically ill they are and sometimes this means that rather than the queue getting shorter, it seems to get longer with more urgent cases being seen first.

You should have been informed of what was happening.

Best wishes

Caroline Davies

Deputy Chief Nurse
