Having attended with my daughter and her husband yesterday for the delivery of their first baby (my first grandchild) I have nothing but praise, admiration and thanks for all the staff involved with their care.
What was expected to be a straight forward delivery in the birthing centre turned into an emergency C-section over the course of the day.
However what fantastic staff they all were, explaining everything thoroughly throughout the labour, such lovely caring midwives.
I can't thank them enough for everything from start to finish and for bringing my granddaughter safely into the world and keeping my daughter safe too!
