"So grateful for successful detached retina repair"

About: The Maidstone Hospital

I wish to thank the surgeon and the team for the successful operation on my detached retina in May this year.

The more so because I didn't report to my optician until 5 weeks after the loss of vision in one eye occurred, due to my mistaken idea that it was an inevitable and incurable consequence of my multiple sclerosis. In spite of this delay, vision was fully restored.

My heartfelt thanks. A Happy Christmas and Good New Year to all involved

Dear Christine

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience at the ophthalmology department at Maidstone Hospital. We were so pleased to hear that your operation was a success and that you have now regained your vision. We will certainly pass your good wishes onto the surgeon and his team and hope that you have a very Happy Christmas. With kind regards, the PALS team
