"Good experience"

About: East Surrey Hospital

My mum had a chest infection and was very breathless, seen by her GP same evening sent to A&E. She was moved overnight to AMU and had a very good night and excellent care whilst there.The next day she was moved to Tilgate ward and again given excellent care. The staff were friendly and helpful, kept my mum smiling. She doesn't like being in hospital so it was nice that the few days she had to stay in were a good experience.

All the staff she met made her feel at ease and I am very grateful to all of them.

Dear Grateful daughter,

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback about the care your mother received whilst she was a patient with us. It is always reassuring to feel that your mum is in good hands; feeling that staff are friendly and helpful goes a long way to provide relatives with that reassurance. I will make sure that the staff on Tilgate ward are aware of your comments.
