About: University Hospital Hairmyres / General Surgery (Ward 5)

(as the patient),

I had Carpal Tunnel surgery carried out by Miss McGlynn and her team and was impressed throughout with my treatment and care, other than being a little longer than expected in the pre-operative area in my gown.

Thank you for your lovely feedback regarding your recent surgery and contact with our team. We try very hard to promote a good experience through our systems as we understand how difficult and stressful a visit to Hospital can be.

I'm sorry you felt a longer wait prior to your operation in our pre operative area however, it is necessary with so many patients to operate on to ensure all are prepared in time and "good to go". I will share your comments with all staff to see if we can reduce any of this waiting time for future procedures.
