"Standard of care"

Admitted to A&E by ambulance, services stretched but staff excellent. Moved to emu staff just overwhelmed but still cheerful. put on ward C treatment excellent, food 5star fresh tea & toast made on ward brilliant system. All staff used alcohol steriliser on every visit or treatment. All staff friendly, happy & attentive even when very busy

Only improvement required is on discharge. Told 10 am would be discharged 11. 30 told again &asked how I was getting home said daughter would pick me up. At 7. 30pm during visiting staff nurse came and asked if I knew I could go told her I was still waiting for discharge letter and medication she then sorted out, left at 8 pm
