"Medical care was excellent but admin seems..."

About: King Edward Vii Hospital (Windsor)

I cannot rate the medial staff in the Ophthalmology staff more highly , both the professionalism and care given when I had two cataract operations in this unit. However the administration side is hopeless.

After seeing a doctor after months of waiting I rang to be told they had 'no idea' when I would be seen. I eventually found out that it was not the operation I was waiting many months for but the pre-op assessment appointment. It took three different nursing staff to achieve this and instead of a full waiting room of people going in and out there was two of us ?! This was not a one off as exactly the same happened the second time.

Someone should look into this as it let's down a great department.
