My partner received a letter for his appointments for day surgery and was advised to arrive at 7.30am. We then waited until 1.30pm for him to have his procedure which took 15 mins. There were no issues with the staff but the waiting time was reduculous. The waiting room was too hot and there was no drinking facilities. We spent £11 on parking and £10 on food it was a very expensive long day out!!! I don't understand why people can't be given specific times instead of wasting people's time and money. I felt really disappointed with the NhS service today.
