I am leaning this review as I often like to leave feedback whether good or bad.
I previously had a hernia operation on the 8/12/15 at Newham hospital. On the 7/12/15 i received a phone call from a member of staff, informing me of the ward and time I needed to attend Newham hospital. They called me around 16:28 on the 7/12/15 I didn't quite catch their name. They were extremely polite and courteous. On the 8/12/15 I checked into West Ham ward at 7:05 and was greeted by another member of staff. They were Also very polite. Throughout my short stay I was cares for by three nurses. They were all so attentive and friendly and it was so nice to be in these staffs care . Especially after being in Newham hospital on the 8-9th November 2012 In the maternity ward and treated so badly by the nurses on the maternity ward. The staff were despicable and were not attentive , rude , unsympathetic, lacked patience and I just felt sorry for any new time mothers that were in that ward. Anyway I was suppose to be leaving a review about my care on the 8/12/15. As mentioned the staff that cared for me on that particular day were amazing and feel that the staff should be appreciated especially when I observed they had a few difficult patients. Again I would also like to thank the anesthetist that were patient with me after I informed them about my needle phobia. The surgeons also who did their best to make me feel comfortable before I was given the anaesthetic. I'm glad that my most recent stay at Newham was no where as horrific as my earlier treatment in 2012 after I had my twins .
So to reiterate again, the staff I encountered personally on the West Ham ward are very competent and attentive. Thank you so much for your care , during my short stay
