I recently spent a week on Ward 41, having been diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and started on treatment within a week of seeing my GP, I can only say what fantastic care I have had at Tameside. All the staff on the ward, my macmillan Nurse and my doctor gave me the absolute best care I could ask for. Straight away I was given all the information about my condition and what treatment to expect which was extremely reassuring, the staff on ward 41 were considerate, professional, sympathetic but also uplifting under sometimes very stressful circumstances. My follow up care has also been first class.
