"Excellent care in urgent cardiac treatment"

About: Wycombe Hospital / Cardiology

(as other),

My partner had been suffering from stable angina which suddenly became unstable, he was sent to Wycombe General Hospital by ambulance with a referral letter for the cardiology team. We were dealt with promptly, efficiently, and with good humour and a positive attitude by every single person who helped us that day, and there were many, as he had to have ECGs, bloods, Xray and an angiogram. He was eventually transferred to another hospital by 'blue light' ambulance, and one of the Wycombe doctors accompanied him. We were given plenty of information, treated with kindness and consideration, and everyone that day is to be congratulated on a job well done. It was an awful day for us, and made much more bearable by efficient and caring staff. Thanks to all.

Dear AlisonB

Thank you for your comments of feedback of the Cardiology department at Wycombe Hospital.

I am sorry to read that your partner had been suffering with angina which became unstable, and can understand how worrying this must have been for both of you.

I am really pleased to learn that on arrival to Wycombe Hospital, your partner was provided with treatment promptly, and efficiently, and that you were both kept informed at all stages, before your partner was transferred to another hospital.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our services, and I will endeavour to pass your lovely compliment to the departments involved in providing treatment and care to your partner with kindness and consideration.
