Sadly I went into early labour on 29.10.2015 at 23 weeks pregnant. We knew our beautiful Elsie May would not survive. After 30 long hours of labour she was born sleeping on 30.10.2015. The midwife who delivered her, was incredible and we could not have wished for more. They treated both myself, and my partner with so much respect and shown us empathy at the most difficult time of our life. They supported me in every way possible and I could not have got through this time if it wasn't for the way they supported me.
I had to stay at the general for five nights afterwards, and every midwife and doctor we came into contact with were incredible and very supportive, they could not do more for us. Special thank you. Incredible midwifes! !
Elsie May's funeral donations are for The Garden Room and Alex room at the general. I don't know what I would have done if my partner could not have stayed with me for the five nights. We were able to share a double bed, have our own bathroom and kitchen away from happy couples!!
Cannot thank everyone enough at the general.
