I was ran over in Feb 2015 and taken to EDGH A&E department where I was treated appallingly. I had to beg for pain killers and was beside myself in agony, one nurse gave me a paracetamol drip after I begged several times, but they must have finished their shift because I never saw them again.
The other staff members stood around chatting while I cried for pain relief, for 7 hours. When they had to put a cast on my foot they rammed my foot in such a way that I almost passed out from the pain (with no painkillers) and I am no wuss.
The worst part is that my complaint was thrown out of the window with a report full of lies (claiming to have given me morphine and other things when I have never had them, and have witnesses).
I am completely scarred for life with this experience and I'm terrified I might have to go back there in an emergency. It sounds dramatic but I would never trust them with my life, which unfortunately I may have no choice about one day and that is what scares me the most.
