"Very recent cataract operation"

About: North Devon District Hospital

I cannot praise the consultant and all the staff and the junior doctor enough in Ophthalmology enough.

My first firsthand experience of North Devon Hospital and have to admit I was nervous but the whole experience was just amazing.

My husband has been singing the praises of the Urology Unit over the past three years so I guess I shouldn't have been worried.

Everyone was very supportive and kind and I was able to sail through the experience with confidence.

The consultant was amazing and I have had no problems at all.

I put paracetamel tablets by my bed but didn't need them and my vision is fantastic.

A big thank you to you all.

Dear Julia

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on the website. I was very pleased to see your surgery and hospital stay went so well, so much so you didn't require the analgesia!

I have shared your feedback with the Ophthalmology service manager where they will be warmly received and shared with the staff involved in your care.

Kind regards
