About: University Hospital Wishaw / General Surgery (Wards 16-18)

(as the patient),

I attended doctor with what I thought wad pain in stomach, he immediately diagnosed appendicitis and contacted Wishaw General. I was admitted to ward 18 that day. Next day I was gives a CT scan and appendicitis was confirmed. Within an hour I was theatre to have appendix removed. I then returned to ward 16. I received the best care anyone could expect from all staff, everyone was so attentive and very kind. All patients in room I was in received same care and nothing was a problem.
