"A & E Worked For Me"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

Having been badly bitten by a cat I rescued from impalement on railings the previous afternoon and spoken to '111', my wife and I arrived at A & E at approximately 3.40 a.m. on Friday morning. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist, dealt with quickly and efficiently by everyone we dealt with in the Emergency Room, X-ray, etc., and were home within three hours.

Quite apart from the efficiency and professionalism of all concerned, what also struck us both was the relaxed, comfortable and calm atmosphere and the obvious camaraderie in the Department, even on the graveyard shift.

Thank you to all concerned.

Dear John,

I am so sorry to hear of your cat bite, they can indeed be very nasty. Thank you so much for taking the time to give us this very kind feedback. We are very proud of our staff when they give kind compassionate care, thank you.

I do hope the bite is healing well and that you have a very pleasant Christmas.

Sally
