I just had my second baby at Watford General and the experience this time was amazing compared to 3 years ago. The staff was on the ball, questions and concerns were answered and looked into. I had a normal delivery but ended up in Theatre to be stitches up under anaesthetic. We then ended up in transitional care which was fantastic. The nursery nurses went beyond their duty to make us both feel comfortable. The facilities have been renewed which makes a massive difference. Bathrooms were much cleaner and although the amount of paperwork involved is still a struggle for all staff the discharge process went smooth. I was in hospital for 5 days with baby1 and 4 days with baby2 / plenty of time to observe!
