My daughter is not one usually to complain about pain or injury . She was very distressed following a fall after dance. We were welcomed to the Children's A and E , but told it could be an hour and a half wait to see a doctor, so if we changed our minds ... So were they trying to say her injury was not important ? She was diagnosed with torn ligaments in her foot, she is an active child , dances and swims competitively . She was told she could swim tonight , but after consultation with her coach he has said no competitative swimming and she should have crutches. she can swim but a personalised reduced programme. She still cannot put any weight on her foot without severe pain. She struggled to move from one place to another in the hospital, no assistance. Even when offered pain killers told to go and get her own water ! Not impressed .
