"Visit to A&E"

About: Ipswich Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

My husband was taken to A&E by ambulance as he had chest pains. What treatment, the staff were patient, friendly and cheerful, which relaxed us both. After having tests and an X-ray he was then transferred to Brantham Assessment Ward where more tests were carried out. The staff in this ward were a joy, attentive and friendly. Fortunately my husband was given a clean sheet and was allowed home after 9 hours.

Thank you to all the staff and best wishes for Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Good morning,

It is fantastic to hear of the excellent care that your husband has received whilst with us at Ipswich Hospital, we always appareciate the feedback.

I will be sure to send your comments on to both the ED team and the team on Brantham, whom I know will be delighted.

I hope your husband is now back to full fitness, and you are both looking forward to the Christmas break.

Thanks again,

Dom
