Referred from Moorfields to UCLH on Wednesday eve, saw a dr in EGA the same eve and consultant/sn registrar on Thursday in Ambulatory Care, and a scan in Imaging.
All dr's, consultants, nurses and administrators were well spoken, clear in their questions/instructions, checked that I as ok when not being seen (and through the consultations) and that I understood what was going on.
As UCLH is a teaching hospital I was also seen by junior dr's and students. I was always asked if I was ok with them being present before they were brought into the room, with them being told about my condition/treatment, with them performing tests (already completed by the dr) or to watch treatment.
UCLH was easy to get to and nicely signposted (for what i needed) although I did observe a few people asking the various reception desks for directions to other dept's (always helpful in providing directions to other patients and staff).
