I was admitted just over a week ago on a Sunday evening and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, I had been in another hospital in A&E for several hours and was transferred here . I was seen very quickly in the Stroke Clinic and after a few tests was admitted to the ward.
I missed the evening meal, so the ward staff got me a drink and some biscuits.
It was difficult to sleep due to late admits and some very poorly people, but only to be expected on a stroke ward.
The next morning I was awake very early and again they made me a drink as the breakfast wasn't due for over a hour.
I found all the staff very nice and although they were busy, they, were very helpful. The ward looked very clean.
