I was admitted through A & E in severe pain and was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. I then spent 5 days in critical care. The next ten days were spent on Ward 20.
In all cases I and my family were very satisfied with the care and communication given by all members of staff. On Ward 20 I would like to mention three staff in particular who were always cheerful and on hand to give care and treatment. Even at the busiest times or when they were under pressure they still made time help, care and explain. All the staff were good but I would like these three people to know that they are doing a really good job and to thank them for making a difficult time more bearable. . I continue to recover well.
"Good treatment"
