"The day centre caters for everything"

About: Stronach Day Service

(as a service user),

I love being here. It’s nice to have someone else to talk to and I know so many people here.

I like:

- The atmosphere; it’s natural and hospitable, like chatting over the garden wall

- The people; the staff are helpful and I like their personalities and their willingness. They are always watching and keeping an eye on us. They are there if you need help, like when I wasn’t well.

- What we do; we split into groups and do quizzes which I enjoy or we sit and have general conversation. I just enjoy chatting to people.

- The food; it’s very good

I think this place caters for everything. I couldn’t do without this place, it’s just as I like it

Dear glencloy,

Many thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on the services that you receive when you attend the new day service at Stronach on the Isle of Arran.

As you would imagine, it is very reassuring for us to hear that the level of service provision is effective in meeting the needs of service users and I will ensure that your kind and positive comments are shared with the team at Stronach Day Services.

The new centre was designed very much in consultation with the people who use the service and I am glad to hear positive stories concerning the service.
