Response from Peterborough City Hospital

I am sorry that there was a delay in you receiving your surgery. Times for starving patients are worked out to ensure that the patient’s safety remains a priority. Normally patients who are starved from midnight would be operated on in the morning however in this case there was a delay for which I would like to apologise.

If you wish to discuss the matter further please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 01733 673405 who will be happy to listen to you and help you

Kind regards
